Dear Skating Families,
Please note that the synchro session will be held at the Thamesford arena on Sunday, September 17th from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. A Skate Canada fee of $36.00 should be paid in advance for insurance polices. This is included in the winter registration fees if you have registered this week. We are looking for skaters that are working on Canskate stage 4 or higher and are younger then 15 as of July 1st, 2017.
Please have your skater dressed in appropriate skating attire with gloves. If your skater is working on their canskate stage 4 or 5 badge, they will also need a CSA approved helmet to be able to go on the ice.
We will see you out Sunday!

The Zorra Skating Club is looking at forming a synchro team(s) this winter season. We are asking all interested skaters to come out to a FREE synchro session on Sunday, September 17th from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm. More information will be given out during this session and there will be time to answer any questions you may have. We are looking for skaters that are working on Canskate stage 4 or higher and are younger then 15 as of July 1st, 2017. If you feel your skater(s) or you know another skater who would enjoy a team setting, come out and see what synchro is all about!

The Zorra Skating Club is looking at offering synchro skating to our skaters this 2017-2018 winter season. Synchro skating involves eight or more skaters performing as a group different formations and maneuvers. We are looking at making two teams: A Beginner One team and an Elementary team.
On a Beginner One team, skaters are required to be working on Canskate Stage 4 badge or higher. For an elementary team: Skaters must not have reached the age of 15 as of July 1st, 2017.
At this time, we are looking for skaters that may be interested in a synchro program with ZSC so we can plan ice time and coaching accordingly. If you are working on Canskate stage 4 or higher and have not reached the age of 15 as of July 1st, 2017 and are interested in skating synchro with our club next year, please send your name to zorraskatingclub@gmail.com by May 15th.
